Customizing the numeric format of quantity values
Depending on your needs, you can select the numeric format of the quantity values in the documents to be added from none to four zeros after the decimal delimiter.
Setting the number of decimals required for the quantity directly in the documents is done by accessing the 'Advanced settings' section when creating it:
Examples of decimal settings:
- for example, if you have the quantity 5 or 5.16 and you choose not to add decimals, then 5 or 5.16 will be displayed;
- if you have the quantity 5.16 and select to add a decimal, the displayed quantity will be 5.16
- if you have the quantity 5.16 and select 3 decimal places, the displayed quantity will be 5,160
- if you have the quantity 5.16 and select 4 decimal places, the displayed quantity will be 5.1600
